Crown Surface Solutions has been collaborating closely with the Scotiabank design team to implement tailored acoustic solutions across their new branches in Canada. Each branch showcases a different acoustic approach using Zintra’s various products across walls and ceilings, creating a diverse aesthetic while ensuring that each branch maintains a harmonious balance of brand identity, visual appeal, and optimal acoustic performance.
A recent highlight of this collaboration took place at the Scotiabank Brentwood branch, where our team conducted a thorough acoustic evaluation of the open-plan teller area. Taking into account the space’s dimensions and surrounding materials, such as the adjacent wood slat wall, we assessed reverberation time and sound level reduction to ensure the best possible result.
The chosen solution, Zintra Sticks Bundle in Narrow Portrait with a 'Spotted Gum' timber print, was suspended from the ceiling to deliver an effective and aesthetically pleasing acoustic treatment, seamlessly matching the aesthetics of the space and the other materials chosen throughout. In addition to its visual appeal, the Sticks system serves as an effective ceiling treatment that enhances speech privacy by reducing sound transmission and improving acoustic comfort in the open-plan area.
