We believe in the sustainability of both our planet and our people. We do everything we can to minimize our environmental impact and create spaces that contribute to the wellness of the people who use them.
Transparency is important to us
Certified by Declare, GREENGUARD and HPD, Zintra is made from 100% recyclable materials:
60% Post-consumer recycled content from PET bottles
35% Pre-consumer recycled content from PET chips
5% PLA polylactic acid, a bio-based material
Zintra also has low levels of volatile organic compounds, contains no formaldehyde, meets the Global Recycled Standard and is Red List Free.
Our sustainable initiatives
Reducing noise levels, minimizing indoor air pollutants, easy cleaning and a Class A fire rating are just a few of the reasons that Zintra is the perfect material for the green buildings of today and tomorrow.
Our sustainable accreditations and processes include:
Air Quality: CDPH Standard Method V1.2 means our products are free of formaldehyde with low VOC
Noise Reduction: An NRC rating of 0.45-0.9, almost 20 times that of a standard drywall
Fire Safety: Class A fire rating per ASTM E84, so there’s no limit to where it can be used architecturally
Carbon Footprint: Regional manufacturing minimizes carbon-intensive transportation
Waste Reduction: Manufacturing offcuts are used in product packaging and protection
Give Back: At end of life, we’ll help you identify local recyclers or charities to give Zintra a second life
